A great way to have a more sustainable approach to sewing is up-cycling or reusing clothes, sheets, blankets and other fabric sources; by prolonging their lives we are creating less waste. Seriously the amount of clothes that goes into landfills each year is unbelievable and we have to start making sustainable choices or our existence in this planet will be seriously compromised.

Today I’m sharing with you some great tutorials and projects that used an UPcycled piece as starting point. Hopefully these will inspire you to see great reuse opportunities next time you go through your closet to dispose of clothes you no longer wear.
