Oh I do love tuesday's outfit, I love the simplicity of the cuts, the lines and the easy to wear factor. Not to mention the super quick sew. I will be making many more of these items for sure.

First up is this large collar ruffle blouse. I do love ruffles, when done right! This pattern is from my favourite series of Japanese books Enanna. I really wish I could read Japanese and find out more about the designer, I just love everything she designs. I actually have 2 more of her books in my shopping cart even if the sizes are too small for my kids. I love the patterns and styles so much, I am willing to make the pattern adjustments to make them fit my kids. You can see all of her books here. I've made a few things from these books before and highly recommend them.

This top was such a quick sew. It's also very simple for MissE to put on and off, there are no buttons or zips, only an elastic at the neckline. I really love the wide fit, the raglan sleeve and cute cuff detail. The fabric is from Willow and Co and is this beautiful and soft cotton sateen. I have it in green and blue as well and it's simply lush. I struggled with sewing the narrow hem on the collar, I really need to brush up on my sewing skills and maybe get a better sewing machine!

Next is some wide leg denim pants made with my very own ASH JUMPSUIT pattern. It's available in my SHOP. It's quick sew and comes with many options, seriously the possibilities are endless and perfect for all seasons. I might have to make MisterM a pair too, maybe in fleece!

I used a japanese stretch denim which I had in my stash from Michael Levine ( looks like they don't carry it anymore) and used before to make MissE some jeans here. Because of the stretch I went down a size but kept the length and rise of MissE's actual size.

This fabric is amazing, just enough stretch and smooth and not too thick but not too thin. I added some back patch pockets which aren't included in the pattern. And I used a knit for my waistband to make the pants even more comfortable.

Used the fabric from my Friday dress for the inseam pockets.

And made the hem extra wide to give more weight the pants and for a nicer finish and drape.

A simple and classy for a cute kindergartner. And how fun are these oxford shoes? Got them at Zulily for a bargain and we LOVE them.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for Wednesday's outfit, it's a good one!
