JET SET: Giddyup... NYC here we come!

Yeah, yeah I know... New York again! But this time it's in Manhattan!
Todays post is all about WOVENPLAY... the coolest kid's brand out there!

Summer 2011
Summer 2011
I briefly talked about them in a previous post: Copy cat Wednesday: Is Stella McCartney a fraud? But today, I wanted to show & tell you more... Wovenplay is one of the most creative lines I've seen in a long time, the creations seem to come straight from the child's imagination: fairies, warriors, aviators, butterflies, and of course COWBOYS and INDIANS.
Summer 2009
They bring play clothes to daywear without looking like a halloween costume! The collections are modern, and romantic, definitely inspiring and creative. What kid wouldn't want to dress up that way? And what parent couldn't live with that? And the best part is that the clothing is eco-friendly, the collection is handmade in their Manhattan studio, the fibers are all natural and often organic, the garments are tinted with natural or low-impact dyes and all their packaging is recycled or biodegradable... WOW! WOW! WOW!
Summer 2009
Wovenplay has made a great impact on kid's fashion and trends, all the coolest stores carry the line and all the best children's magazine feature the collection. If feather headbands and cowboy chaps are "in", just blame Wovenplay... I just can't wait for a Montreal store to get the goods!
These are some of my favorites... The Jada Suit, the Prussian tutu, the feather band in hot pink, the Lola suit, the Sophie suit, the Shark shorts.... and there's so much more!!!
Go check out the website: www.wovenplay.com, for more pics, store location and even their inspiration!

Also, you have got to check out the collaboration Wovenplay has done with Jess Brown... How cute are these dolls, they are all wearing Wovenplay Outfits! That should be for another post!!!

Jet Set: Set Sails, France here we come!

When you think of the the typical sailor shirt, blue & white stripe shirt, who is the first fashion designer that pops up to your head? JPG! Well of course... Jean Paul Gaultier. Did you know he also designs a kids line: Junior Gaultier. You can find all of his classic pieces in miniature sizes, too cute! Spring 2011 is his 4th collection... for boys & girls! Here are some of the Nautical looks:

Jet Set FRIDAYS: Somethings to crow about...

Have you heard of KLT:WORKS and TAMAR MOGENDORFF? Well if you paid really good attention on Monday's and Tuesday's post, then you probably saw some of their products... Want to know more?
So today our little birdies will migrate towards the Ouest to Seattle and then South to Brooklyn!

KLT:WORKS...
This duo Wife & Husband, Kristin & Chris, have a really cute little company out of Seattle. They have a great selection of Mobiles, Plushes, Tees, Pillows and much much more. All their products are carefully handmade and in limited quantities. The use of color and their fabric choice have a modern and fun appeal. And, they have a great selection of bird products... here are a few of my favorites.

Now we migrate towards the south... not to far, all the way to New York...

TAMAR MOGENDORFF
What can I say? I admire this woman's talent sooooo much!!!! Every piece of fabric she touches becomes magic! Really, what's in the water in Brooklyn? Is their any way we can bottle it? I would pay big bucks to get some Brooklyn magic... Seriously, Tamar Mogendorff has fairy fingers and her creations are breathtaking and stunning. Her world doesn't only capture the beauty of birds and their habitats but the world that surrounds her as well: bears, avocados, fishes, unicorns and much much more... She is such an inspiration! Here are a few pictures I love, and go check out her website & blog.
