Hit or Miss
What do you think of leggings for your little boys, or perhaps I should say not so little boys? I'm thinking for your 4 year olds and up... Mister M will soon be 4, and I'm not quite sure if He could pull off the look! Or perhaps, I'm just too worried about what others might think... I know I shouldn't care, I don't usually, but I wouldn't want him to get bullied or laughed at! I'm pretty sure, we wouldn't be having this discussion if I lived in Europe!
American Apparel has a new pair of what they call "thermal" leggings, so they aren't your typical Lycra, stretchy tights, they are a little thicker and a bit more loose. Also, they seemed to be mainly for boys, most of the pictures on the website, besides one other, was of this cute boy you see here.
So do you think they are a HIT, a MISS, or are you just like me and are ON THE FENCE? Let me know by clicking on the buttons/word just below. Or leave a comment.... You might just sway me in one direction or another!
Ummmm, the more I look at the pictures, the more I like the look...
Just in case you haven't seen this video, check it out. Mister M and Miss E love it, you should see them try to do the same thing! Sweet!
The Frii bicycle. Do you love it? Hate it? Or not quite sure...
Let us know by clicking on ( ) hit , ( ) on the fence or ( ) miss button below!!!
This bicycle hasn't been produced yet! This was a final school project imagined by Dror Peleg at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. I don't think it was intended to be for children either, but I immediately feel in love with it and though Mister M & Miss E would fall heads over heels for it too!
What is AMAZING about this design, besides the great color stories and look of the bike, is that it is entirely made from recycled plastic. Every component is injection-molded into modular shapes that snap together, making it strong and lightweight as well as customizable! They are still in the development stages, and are having a few issues with strengthening the bike, so I would suggest they start with a kiddie bike! Hehe!
So did I convince you yet... Hit? On the fence? Miss?
I know this has nothing to do with kids clothes or design, it definitely has to do with the world of fashion and beauty, and I just had to share this with you. I was checking out my Facebook today and I came across an article in The SUN, that just blew me away. Did you know 8 year old girls are getting Botox? I was in utter shock to learn this, and to learn that it isn't ILLEGAL! What is this world coming to? You should really read what this mom has to say... What are we teaching our children? I would like to think that I am teaching my children to have good taste and teaching them about the arts and design, but I sure hope I am not teaching them how to be superficial and self conscious! So I ask you, would you inject Botox in your 8 year old? Is it a Hit or a Miss?
