Did you know that the color green symbolizes self-respect and well being. It also means learning, growth and harmony. I am a huge fan of green, specially in clothing. I really love the color khaki and emerald, I also love any green that falls under the teal realm. I am soooo excited about our guests today, wnna know why? Keep reading!

Funnily enough 2 of my really good friends chose to sew green outfits for their Shade of Me post!

First up is Mie, you can find her sewing a storm over at Sewing Like Mad. Mie has become a really good friend over the past few months and I couldn't imagine blogging without her. She is this super talented and creative force when it comes to sewing and you can see all the wonderful things she makes for her lovely daughters and even herself on her blog. She has impeccable taste and awesome style. Ummm I need her green outfit in my life! I love the color combo and you know you want to see more, so head on over to her blog HERE.

Next is Laura. I feel like I have know Laura all my life, she has become my very best friend and I have my little blog to thank for that. It's funny the things this blog of mine has given me and I would have never thought when I started that a best friend would come from it!
Now you can find Laura blogging on Craftstorming, she creates the most awesome outfits for her boys. She's been busy creating some amazing PDF patterns these days and I can't stress enough how awesome they are. I have to say both the Fancy Pants Leggings and The Small Fry Skinny jeans are my kids favorite items. They happen to be favorites of mine too- nice instructions, high quality patterns, easy to sew- what more do you want! Now how comfy does that hoodie look? And ummm that view!!! You have to check out Laura's post, she brought her handmade hoodie to the Alpes... read all about it HERE.

And lastly, we have Karly, she blogs over at Paisley Roots. I've only recently discovered Karly's blog, she is the winner of the last Project Run & Play season which ended last week. Did you see all the amazing outfits she put together for her adorable kids? There are a few items I would love to re-create. I can't believe she has 5 kids to sew for and they are such adorable and compliant models! I am loving this spring dress she made for herself, it has that perfect vintage vibe. So co and check out all of the details HERE.
