It was my blogiversary last week... Sort of! But how did I miss it?

On February 2nd 2011 is when I REALLY started blogging, but the truth is that my first blog post was in November 2009, I wrote 9 posts in 4 months and then completely stopped for a full year. So I've decided that my official blogging career only started when I got serious and regular... One year ago... last week!

285 posts and over 60 000 pageviews in one year... All I can say is THANK YOU! Thank you to all of my readers, thank you for coming back, for commenting, for becoming friends and part of my daily life. I couldn't have done it without you!

So what has a year of blogging done for me? More than I could have ever expected! It started out as a way of sharing the things that inspire me, and to then showcase some of the things I made. I really had no clue what the blogging world was all about and what I was getting into... Now, I'm part of this great little community,  I have made some great connections, and there are so many other blogs out there that inspire me on a daily basis. I'm also proud to be part of the La Petite Magasine crew, the new issue is coming out any day now and I can't wait for you to see it. As of Wednesday I'll be starting a new blogging adventure, so exciting!!! You'll just have to wait and see...

Blogging has also made me a better a mom and a lousy housewife! I happen to be a procrastinator and even a bit lazy sometimes, so this blog is my source of motivation, a kick in the butt to do more things for and with my kids. It pushes me to be more creative, to try harder, for example I'm not sure I would have made such intricate Halloween costumes this year. I'm so glad I put in the extra effort, the kids were so proud when we won our neighborhood contest for 1st and 2nd prize, they still talk about it. It's has also made me take more and better photos, finally Miss E has as many pictures as Mister M or even more. Ah, yes... But now I spend more time on the computer and less on sweeping the floor! I was never really good at that anyways...

Maybe, your wondering why there are two candles in my photo above? One for good luck, for an other amazing year of new friendships, more inspiration, better photos, crazy DIY projects and more messy floors!

Thank you, you guys rock my world!
