Hello Simple Summer Sewists, Kristi here from SweetKM. Today marks the end of Simple Summer Sewing, and all I can do is wonder where the summer has gone. I guess time really does fly when you're making something quick and easy! I don't think I could ever get tired of sewing with drapey summer linen, but I am looking forward to digging into a few more substantial projects for fall.

I want to thank everyone who sewed along with us during #simplesummersewing. The support, and inspiration from the sewing community is one of my favorite parts of sewing, and making t-shirts and tank dresses is a lot more fun with company!  This post is loaded with your perfectly simple sewing projects, and there are lots more on instagram. I'm left with even more ideas than I had in June, but most of them will have to wait until next year (#simplesummersewing2017 perhaps). I'm ready to sew something with a zipper, or even a lining. If you're looking for another group to give you some motivation and focus check out Celina's #projectsewit, and Mie's #sewjapan.

The winner of the August giveaway is @knitsandsews !! Congratulations Kara, we'll be in touch! You've won some great patterns from the lovely people at Grainline Studio, Liesl + Co., and Cali Faye Collection. I am very grateful to these talented designers who enthusiastically contributed their patterns to this little project. Please have a look around their websites, you'll find some great ideas to transition your me-made wardrobe into fall.
