Hi there, it's Jane from Buzzmills!  I think, perhaps, that you'll soon notice I tend to draw a lot of my inspirations from the "calendar".  Whether it be kid friendly projects or fun sewing ideas...often times they relate to the current season or holiday...

Today is no different.

As we've just entered the new month March, I thought I'd have a bit of fun with the old saying:

"March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb."

Of course, first, the lion of March...

He "ROARS" in with brutal winds and cold...

But then, somewhere in the middle of the month that roaring lion begins to mellow a bit as a friend arrives...

And the lamb, well, with the lamb comes more sunshine, purple crocuses...

and, of course...Spring!

And all sorts of springtime newness...

And before long it's time to say goodbye to that lion and the cold blustery days of Winter and early Spring...

Happy March!  It's nearly Spring!  The birds are chirping more, the bulbs are popping up, the grass is green, the snow has begun to melt.
