NOBIS

I don`t know about you but my kids won`t leave the house without a hat on. Now I only wish I knew about NOBIS before!
This canadian compagny creates a cooler than cool collection of hats for the whole family... they do it all right, from their fabric choices and color combinations and the urban styles. No baby pink or fuschia here!!!
I don`t really want to talk about winter stuff, but their hat & coat selection is crazy cool too...

LOUIS*LOUISE

LOUIS*LOUISE you make my heart sing!

I think I'll leave it at that...

This french label is all that I wish for in a kids clothing line...
For Girls, boys and babies...

Delicate yet practical.

 Sophisticated yet comfortable.

I just love the fabric, colors, the prints, the silhouette...

I really wish I was more poetic to express how much I love this collection!

Tattoos... DIY or Not!

Have you heard, you can create your own temporary tattoos now? I don't about you, but my kids are obsessed with tattoos and I can just imagine how excited they would be to choose their own design. Oh imagine the ALL the possibilities!!!

What a great idea for loot bags and birthday parties! Or tattoo your phone number when you go on a field trip!

All you need is a little imagination and an inkjet... And the Silhouette specialty paper, which you can find on the Silhouette website (along with lot's of other cool and amazing craft supplies) or on Amazon.

Their are lot's of free fonts with symbols and images you can download with cute and simple designs. Have a look here for some ideas.

Now DIY is not your thing? Then you should check out Tattly for all your temporary tattoo needs. They have the greatest and coolest tattoos of all. I ordered these last year for Miss E's party and hey we're a huge hit.

Show me what you come up with, I know I'll be showing you!

I heart... ATELIER GILET

I'm loving these illustrations and accessories from a little Etsy store all the way from Italy... Atelier Gillet.
Everything is handmade with love and care by the ever so talented Nadia. You'll find a variety of unique and charming gifts, home decor, jewelry and prints and if you head over to Envelop you can discover some of Nadia's artwork on pillows and totes.

I particularly love her brooches ( p.s. my birthday is coming up!).

There's a little something for the whole family...

la maison de loulou

I've been redecorating Miss E's room for a while now, I just can't seem to get it done... too many pillows or not enough, too many toys which ones do you leave out? Oh and how many babies is too many 2, 4, 6, 8? How about DIY overkill, is there such a thing? Anybody else feel like they could use some help? Now if only I lived in NYC, I would defenitely have Marie-Laure help out...

La Maison de Loulou, is a design and decorating studio dedicated to world of children, from nurseries, to bedrooms and playrooms, Marie-Laure will create a space for the kids to grow in with modern touches and lot's of creativity.

I think the photos speak for themselves... I just love the color choices, the small details that make all the difference, the simplicity. What little girl wouldn't love to sleep and play in these rooms, I know I would!

MishMash Friday no. 18

Happy Friday y'all!

I'm not quite sure where my week went!!!! It's been pretty busy at work, the kids were a little sick, I've also been doing a little extra graphic design work on the side. Oh, and I printed and sewed up my pj orders, so those will be ready to ship! I have so much I'd love to share and not enough time... I miss working from home, on my own schedule.

Here are a few thing I liked this week form tumblr, Pinterest, Etsy and from here & there...

(photo above via I Art U )

I love everything from this Japanese label Franky Grow...

Love everything in this Etsy shop Misako Mimoko, seriously cute! I think I'll get the orange toy watch for Miss E, the brown for Mister M and the green one for me :)

Vintage lithographed tin cars and cabs toys from Nana's Cottage House. I'd love to get these for Mister M.

What a cute idea... Cover you light switch plaques with fabric? I think I might have to come up with a tutorial for this :)

Oh Miss E has a thing for horses, I think my kids would love this vintage marionette form the 60's. It would look great in our living room too. Via 100 Cards

Coup de Coeur... No.9

Pinned Image

What a wonderful idea for a DIY project, perhaps a cute father's day gift or card...
This has got me so inspired.
Find an old dictionary
...
Tear out the page with a specific word in mind
for example gorgeous, smart, sweet, awesome, etc...
...
Now grab a sharpie and doodle what ever you want to draw and say.
Or
If you are courageous enough cut out the wording and drawing!
...
Direct your arrow towards the word you want to convey.
...
Glue onto a piece of card stock or cardboard or what ever you might have lying around!
...
Don't forget to sign it :)
...
Unfortunately I do not have the link to the original source ( so if you happen to know where this is from PLEASE let us know).*** UPDATE*** this is by Rob Ryan, amazing papercut artist... find his work over at http://www.misterrob.co.uk/  and a big thank you to Frenchpounette for the info.

I heart... PETITONET

I discovered the Petitonet canvas mary-janes on the Babbyccino blog the other day and just had to share this little companies collection with you. Petitonet  is small online shop from London which carries a few select styles that are just too cute...

In the shoe departement you will find the Avarcas, simply gorgeous handcrafted leather sandals from Spain, a great summer classic for boys and girls.

My favorite are the canvas mary janes, great with any outfit and for any occasion. The only problem is what color to get! Blue... Raspberry... Grey... Help!!!

Look how cute these canvas Blucher are. One navy for Mister M, please!

I almost wish Miss E was still wearing diapers... then I would get her a pair of openwork knitted knickers in every color. I guess the pompom sock are just as great!!!

All right, I`m going to place my order now... it`s a good thing they offer international shipping.
